Topsport Vlaanderen – Mercator

While they may not be household names, Topsport Vlaanderen have a rich history in The Tour, having won the first edition of the revived race in 2004 with Mauricio Ardila. Since then they've won stages and jerseys, most notably in 2009 with Thomas De Gendt, with the Topsport Vlaanderen jersey was seen off the front of the race on most stages.

The UCI ProContinental team can be relied upon to feature prominently throughout The Tour, and with former U23 World Time Trial Champion Dominique Cornu due to ride, could once again be on for a high overall result.

Supporting Cornu is likely to be a young Belgian line-up, including Stijn Neirynck, who performed well on last year's stage to Swansea, and Jelle Wallays, who was third in the hotly contested Belgian Road Race Championships in June.
