Motorpoint Pro Cycling Team
Motorpoint Pro Cycling return for their second Tour of Britain with the UK's leading car supermarket at the helm of Phil Griffiths' team. Leading the way will be Ian Bibby and Jonny McEvoy, the former of whom starred during last year's Tour. Lancastrian Bibby took an excellent second on the tough stage to Swansea, before finishing 13th overall, and has been in winning form earlier this season in the Cinturon Tour in Mallorca.
In addition to former British Cyclo Cross Champion Bibby, Motorpoint also boast rising star Jonny McEvoy, who took an impressive win in The Halfords Tour Series at Canary Wharf, and a rider at the opposite end of his career in Malcolm Elliott, one of Britain's greatest ever cyclists who has been closely involved in the management of the team in 2011.
Andrew Magnier will hope to make his Tour of Britain debut and look forward to Stoke-on-Trent's Stage Three which passes through his hometown of Cheddleton, and is also the home stage of the team, who are based just off the route of leg three, between the Trentham Gardens start location and the Yodel Sprint at Stone.
Also hoping to make their Tour of Britain debuts will be the Somerset residing duo of Marcin Bialoblocki and Will Bjergfelt, who will hope to impress on their local stage on day six.
